Excellence in oncology: a history of care

L’Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori di Milano (National Cancer Institute) was founded in 1928. Fast forward to today, and it is one of the country’s leading cancer centres for research and treatment.

On the research side, it focuses on four main areas, covering early diagnosis, prevention, therapy, clinical care, and more.  The main building of the National Cancer Institute is located on Via Giacomo Venezian, near the Città Studi, Lambrate, and Ortica areas of Milan.
